On the eve of the new school year, PetroKazakhstan Oil Products LLP (PKOP) organized a charitable event aimed at helping students of schools located in residential areas close to the Refinery. As part of the event, the company’s employees handed over 210 sets of new school uniforms to children from low-income families studying in schools #84, 94, 96, 97, 99, 100 and 142.
On behalf of the management the schoolchildren were warmly welcomed by Mr. T.Zharmakhanbetov, Director, HR and Administration Department of PKOP LLP, wishing them success in their studies, aspiration for knowledge and self-confidence.
Social responsibility is one of the main principles of PKOP LLP. The Company is actively involved in the life of the local community, implementing projects aimed at developing education, healthcare and improving the quality of life of the region’s residents.
