Kumkol oil field 25th anniversary ceremony was held on the 10th September 2011. The ceremony was attended by RoK Parliament Mazhilis deputies, CNPC and NC KMG management staff, Kyzylorda and Kyzylorda Oblast Akimat representatives who sent compliments to the Company staff and managers regarding this remarkable event.
 
The event was started with the presentation and the medical equipment (total cost USD 150,000) provided to the Oblast children hospital followed by the country-wide artist exhibition held in A. Tazhibayev’s Kyzylorda Oblast Universal Library. People of Kyzylorda celebrated the event with the concert of Kazakhstan and foreign pop stars in the Central Square.       
 
At the official part of the ceremony, the guests and the Company staff was shown Kumkol’s Black Gold documental film and Quarter-Century of Kumkol photo book containing rare archive shots and pictures and memories of people working there in various times who made it to what it is now. At the anniversary event, the Company veterans and honored employees were rewarded with «Құмкөл кен орнына 25 жыл» medals and letters of appreciation from the Ministry of Oil and Gas, NC KMG, and KMG E&P.
