A festive event dedicated to the International Children’s Day was held in the Kyzylorda city recreational park yesterday. The region’s mayor Bolatbek Kuandykov participated in the event. The region’s mayor said that the Kyzylorda residents’ recreation was under supervision of the regional administration, and the renovation of the recreational park including the purchasing of new amusement attractions was another example of this. The regional budget allocated 290m tenge for this that is why prices for amusement attractions will be affordable and even lower than the country’s average. The administration supervises issues of safety of amusement attractions the quality of which is not lower than those located in big cities. Bolatbek Kuandykov gave out summer recreational camps vouchers to school students and professional education grants to alumni of special correctional schools of the regional center. Having wished strong health, good summer vacations, new pleasant impressions and fulfillment of their wishes to the children, the region’s mayor inspected the city recreational park. Various competitions were held there at that time: children were riding bikes and competing with each other while older children together with their parents were competing for the title of the most athletic family in a relay entitled «Papa, mama and me are a peaceful family».

PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources sponsored the event. The oil company prepared presents for all children participating in the festivities. The company also distributed over 6,000 portions of the most delicious ice cream.
