PetroKazakhstan Olympics was held at PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources sports complex featuring five sports. Participants were PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources of Kyzylorda, PetroKazakhstan Overseas Services Inc. of Almaty, and PetroKazakhstan Oil Products of Shymkent.

Competitions were held in football, badminton, table tennis, volleyball and chess. Kyzylorda was leading in all sports, except for table tennis. Badminton competition was of particular interest. Anar Umarova and Aynur Shulenbaeva made serious contribution to the victory of Kyzylorda badminton team.

All participants received awards and gifts.

In conclusion, a friendly mini-football match between the teams of oilmen and Akimat was held.

It should be noted that success has not come to PKKR athletes by chance. The sports complex is headed by a big fan of sports, Anatoly Litvinov. There one can choose from tennis, badminton, indoor football, shaping, table tennis, martial arts, sport dance for adults and kids. About 600 people are enlisted, and they are not only PKKR employees, but children from underprivileged families, Afghan war and Chernobyl veterans, and people of other social background who go there for free.
