The Annual CIS Oil and Gas Summit organized by The Energy Exchange (London) took place in Paris from May 27 to May 29. The summit was attended by leading experts and managers from oil-and-gas, service and analytical companies of Europe, the USA and the CIS, as well as well known European banks and financial institutions.
PetroKazakhstan for the first time took part in such a representative international forum devoted to current challenges in the oil and gas business development under the conditions of the world economic stagnation. The company was represented by Vice-President B.I. Issengaliyev to whom the Summit organizers assigned an honorable role of being the Chairman at the meeting regarding Central Asia. The chairmanship at the Summit aroused keen interest in PetroKazakhstan Company and certainly increased its recognition at the international level. PetroKazakhstan was invited to make a presentation at the following 10th CIS Oil and Gas Summit.
