On November 1, 2018, the ceremonial opening of PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources camp, set at Karabulak oilfield in the North-West part of Aryskum cavity of the South Torgai basin, was held.

A huge step to improve the working and living conditions of PKKR employees was the construction of a shift compound with 45 beds. Workers will live in comfortable conditions. There are double and triple rooms and a lounge zone for watching news and TV programs. The living block is equipped with appliances, shower rooms and bathrooms. This complex will become a long-term second home for many workers.

The administrative block consists of a dining room with modern kitchen equipment, a medical center with an isolator, a laundry room and a hall where shift workers can spend their leisure time playing billiards and tennis.
