Geologist’s Day Awards

In Kazakhstan, every year on the first Sunday of April, the country’s geologists celebrate their professional holiday – Geologist’s Day.

In honor of the holiday, employees of “PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources” JSC were awarded awards by the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Akimat of the Kyzylorda region.

In the first decade of April this year, a solemn awarding ceremony was held with the participation of the company’s management.

Kolgai Oleg, a leading geologist of the Geology and Development Department, was awarded the title of “Outstanding worker of Exploration Survey” by the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan for his services in the geological industry. Petrophysicist of the 1st category, Bimaganbetova Kulshim, and Team leader of the Field Production Engineering group, Kulmanov Sultanay, were awarded letters of thanks from the Akim of the Kyzylorda region.
