PetroKazakhstan Company is one of the largest production companies of South Kazakhstan Oblast which realizes corporate social responsibility. Undoubtedly, rendering of social support to the most neувн layers of society of this region, such as orphans, disabled children, veterans, talent and gifted children from large and low-income families, etc., is the priority task for the Company. PetroKazakhstan Oil Products has been suggested by South Kazakhstan Oblast as a candidate for “Altyn Zhurek” award in the nomination “Benefactor of the Year”. All charitable events are carefully realized at PKOP as per the approved “Regulation on performing of charitable and sponsor activities by the group of PetroKazakhstan companies”. This year PetroKazakhstan Oil Products has allocated about 200 mln KZT for social support, including 180 mln KZT allocated as per the Memorandum between SKO Akimat and PetroKazakhstan Company Management for the following: 41mln KZT – for completion of water line and installation of water-metering devices for people living in Zhuldyz rural district, Sairam region; 20mln KZT – for repair of building of the State Institution “SKO Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Persons”, 19 mln KZT- to “Ontustik” Social Fund for implementation of social projects, 100mln KZT- for the suffered from flood in State Institution “Specialized Base of SKO Department for Mobilization Preparedness, Civil Defense, Arrangement of Prevention and Elimination of Emergencies and Disasters”.
