PetroKazakhstan Oil Products LLP annually supports a branch of “Tennis Federation” Republican Public Association in Shymkent by allocating funds for the national children’s and youth tournaments in the age category of 12, 14 and 16 years.
Over the past 10 years PetroKazakhstan Oil Products LLP has been providing a significant support to the Boxing Federation in Shymkent. Thanks to the Company’s financial support, training conditions are improving, necessary equipment is being purchased, and a number of young athletes in Shymkent are able to take part in various international competitions. Also, thanks to the Company’s financial support, republican competitions have been organized in Shymkent and there is constant work to attract the Symkent young people to this kind of sport.
PKOP LLP supports to hold a rhythmic sportive gymnastics tournament in Shymkent for the prize of Aliya Yusupova, a celebrated Kazakhstani sportswoman. Previously, PKOP LLP has allocated funds for the participation of talented and promising female rhythmic gymnasts in international competitions. Over the past decade PKOP has allocated more than 708 mln. tenge for sport projects.
For more than 10 years, PetroKazakhstan has supported “Ordabasy” – the largest football club in the city. The football club was able to strengthen itself in the highest levels of the RK Premier League.
In addition, the Company itself is successfully implementing a number of sports initiatives which are supported by the management. They are the “Healthy Lifestyle” program, the annual sports contest among the Company’s employees in five sports: football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, chess.
