Environment Protection
The Company annually allocates significant funds for environmental protection measures, the introduction of resource-saving technologies and processes that meet international standards and the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
PKOSI AB is actively implementing various environmental projects. Thus, within the framework of the implementation of the Green Office project, the PKOSI AB carries out on an ongoing basis:
- collection and transfer for subsequent processing of waste paper, including waste paper that an employee can bring from home
- two-sided printing of documents is installed on all printing devices
- collection and transfer for subsequent processing of plastic is underway
- a contract for the disposal of electronic waste was concluded
- there is a separate collection of food waste
- a separate parking lot for employees' bikes has been installed
- a planned replacement of lighting with resource-saving is carried out
The Company has carried out work to identify environmental aspects and assess their significance, develop action plans to control and reduce the impact of environmental aspects.
